Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Stylo Voice (the “App”) handles your voice, the text you enter and your usage history.
Information we collect
We do not collect your voice, the text you enter or any other such data.
Information stored on your Mac
The App stores the text you enter and a history of failed and undone entries on your Mac. Up to 1,000 text entries are kept, and audio is kept for 7 days. You can turn off audio storage.
To help tidy up your text, the App uses the name of the app you are typing in and up to the last 400 characters of the text field. These are not stored.
What is sent outside your Mac
Only if you set your own API key (for example, for OpenAI) does the App send the text to tidy, the text you selected and the content of your requests to that API provider. Audio is never sent.
The App connects to stylovoice.app to check for updates.
Crash reports
Crash reports are stored only on your Mac and are not sent to us.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the change on this page with the revision date.
